Membership

Brunswick Clay Collective pottery
Membership is open to students who have completed at least one 8 week course and are comfortable working independently with minimal or no guidance. It includes 7.5 hours of studio access each week. Members must supply their own tools and materials.

Facilities include:

  • Pottery wheels for throwing
  • Plaster batts
  • Newspaper and plastic for drying
  • Use of communal equipment
  • Tea and coffee facilities
  • Allocated shelf space for storage of work-in-progress

Staff will load the kilns so it's not necessary for members to know how to do this but they should know how to glaze their work so as not to cause kiln damage.

Firing frequency will depend a little on demand but generally it can be expected fortnightly.  During times of high demand there may be a longer wait.

Some house glazes are available to purchase
Firing available from $9 per kilo (bisque)
Membership rates are as follows:
$200 per calendar month (paid a month in advance)
$560 per quarter paid in advance
